Spring trip to Kotkanpesä

Cubs will have a day trip on Sat 18th from 1000-hrs to 1500 hrs. Be at 1000 hrs at Kotkanpesä, Munkträskinpolku 61. You can pick up your cub from the same place at 1200 hrs on Sunday.

We will stay overnight in tents.
Register in Kuksa before May 12th.

Camp fee is 25 € .

We need help by carpooling for transportation. Be at Kotkanpesä at 1000 hrs. On Sunday you we are leaving 1300 hrs from Kotkanpesä.

Gear list for adventurers and trackers

• A scout scarf

• Three season sleeping bag (Comfort 0 C preferred), a sleeping mattress

• A jacket, waterproof

• Trousers, waterproof

• Shoes for outdoor (gore-tex or rubber boots)

• Rain jacket and trousers if your jacket is not waterproof

• Extra underwear, long johns or leggins for night

• A T-shirt, short sleeves

• A mid-layer (fleece or wool sweater)

• Socks x 2 (better to use merino wool or polyester than cotton socks)

• A beanie and gloves

• A headlamp with full battery

• A knife

• A water bottle

• Personal hygiene equipment (tooth brush and toothpaste, small towel, tissues)

• Personal medication

• Small first aid kit (band-aids, first aid bandage)

• Pen and paper/notebook

Take if you like:

• Pillow, sunglasses, playing cards, a teddy bear or...

We have cutlery at the hut, so you do not need your own.

There is no possibility to charge your phone.
